Setelah selesai nginstall/nyoba distro baru pasti nyari si rubah api dulu. g dah kenal si rubah api sebelum g kenal Tux, soale si rubah api ini doyan main di “jendela” dan suka makan “apple” juga .Tapi rasanya paling enak liat si rubah api kalo main sama Tux apalagi kalo keliling dunia maya bareng mereka dijamin lancar dan aman deh dari gangguan seperti virus, spyware, dll. Tadi sore dapet cd install STX Linux 1.0 dan FoX Desktop 1 dari temen , sampe di wnet dah gak sabar pengen nyoba. Kebetulan ada satu komp yang lagi nganggur langsung aja deh g coba install. Karena penasaran pengen liat tampilan EDE yg katanya mirip windows 98, jadi g mutusin nyoba install STX Linux dulu. Proses instalasinya cepat sekali gak sampe 20 menit dah selesai dan langkah2nya pun gak rumit cuma milih bahasa, ngatur partisi trus install deh terakhir masukin password buat root lalu restart dan jadi kek gini

untuk internet dah tersedia mozilla (browsing dan chatting IRC) dan Gaim untuk instant messenger (yahoo,msn,IRC,jabber,ICQ dll), file manager pake Xfe (mirip explorernya win98), Office ada Textmaker dan Gnumeric, Image viewer pake Xfi, Gimp dan Inkscape juga ada buat ngatur dan setting ada control center dan EDE control Panel.

hari ini tambahin firefox 1.0.7 browser favorit g biar browsingnya lebih nyaman, firefox 1.5 on the way

nyoba colokin flashdisk trus klik icon flashdisk yg ada di desktop langsung terbuka cuma g blom nemu cara unmountnya, terpaksa seperti biasa unmount lewat terminal :p commandnya gak rumit kok cukup login root lalu ketik #umount /media/sda1 enter, flashnya bisa dicabut dengan aman

ternyata bisa mount/unmount dari Xfe cukup klik kanan trus pilih mount/unmount pada icon flashnya di /mnt/nama_flashdisk

kesimpulannya distro ini lumayan bagus terutama buat yg suka sama tampilan windows 98 apalagi distro ini termasuk ringan jadi bisa buat komputer2 tua
buat wnet bisa juga neh biar usernya gak bingung cuma g blom sempat nyoba setting sambanya lancar apa gak, ntar aja soale mo nonton Juve dulu kekekeke …
